Well, right or wrong on the part of Bo, when your chancellor calls you out like that...you got a problem.

pelini was totally out of control

spare me the PC bullshite because that has nothing to do with this situation. theres a huge difference in being intense and fiery like saban and completely out of control and psycho like pelini was last night, and is most of the time

the way he went off on martinez was totally uncalled for and i hope it costs him his job to be honest

Why do you care?

You are really spiteful for no apparent reason.

I think he's a pretty good coach who is very intense. I mean it should have sent red flags up to LSU fans when he drew a unsportman like conduct penalty in a freaking spring game. Bc after all the rant deems the spring game as a glorified practice and there is Pelini going ballistic on the sidelines.

Nebraska has had some of the most reserved manner coaches in history. Pelini does not fit into that mold as a head coach and it goes against what they perceive to be "their image." I watched part of the Husker-Aggie game and Nebraska was getting screwed by the refs.

What do you know about the whole situation that qualifies you to make that statement?

Some A&M blogger was videoing the on field celebration and Carl Pelini came up and knocked the camera out of his hands -- or at least it sure as hell looks that way.
LINK

No idea why he would do this but there is just no way a major college football coach should be acting this way. And for anyone who says "as long as he wins it doesn't matter" I seriously doubt the Pelinis' profanity-laced temper tantrums endeared the Cornhuskers to the referees.

If I'm not mistaken, I heard the reason he didn't get the job the first time around when they went with Callahan was bc of his temper. Some altercation or comments he made about Snyder at Kansas State while Pelini was still the DC. Nebraska brass didn't care for that type of behavior.

That doesn't surprise me. The Nebraska fans are much more reserved than say those of us in the SEC and they expect their coaches to display a bit of decorum at games. Osbourne is a class act and so was Devaney. Pelini has a very different personality for them and it does ruffle many of them. We're a little more used to tempers flying at games than they are.

Sounds like there will be a new Chancellor in Nebraska next year. Something tells me that if anyone is going to tell someone something, it will probably be Osborne telling the Chancellor to hit the road.

Dude, did you actually watch that game?

Pelini made a fool out of himself.

There's yelling and then there's having a completely meltdown. Pelini lost his mind, it was an epic meltdown.

I watched the TAMU/Nebraska game. Pelini looked like a freaking lunatic. He was completely out-of-control in some instances.
I saw that as well. I bet Spurrier was thinking that the boy needed to calm down

Me too.

But what pelini did(if you watched most of that game) was not remotely being passionate. It was having a meltdown.

I won't go as far to say he should be fired, but the dude definitely has some serious anger management problems. There's a fine line between being firey and intense and being just plain crazy. Bo looked the latter Saturday night.
