Yeah, McShay said "that's the 5th best team in the nation" and Smith said "no the 5th RANKED team in the nation." I wonder what his agenda with LSU is. He's been pretty negative about LSU all year.

Robert Smith should just leave ESPN and go coach high school somewhere in Ohio. He's such a douche

I agree and I don't think they gave Ole Miss enough credit. Masoli was great today and did a good job stopping us in the RZ several times. Every week in the SEC (save Vandy and UK) is a tough week.

I don't understand how the same people who were blowing sunshine up Bama's arse give us little to no respect with a 10-1 record in the toughest division of the toughest conference in football.

I mean shite ole piss isn't great we know... but if they were on boise's schedule they would be a "signature" win....pathetic.

I have never heard anything liked that. They were basically laughing at LSU.
These same "experts" get impressed by beating crappy teams by 30 every week like Boise does though.

In their defense, at some point if you're a good team you have to put a beat down on somebody, and LSU has not done that yet against bad in-conference teams i.e. Tennessee, Ole Miss, Vandy. If you want respect, that is what is necessary.

smith was a good ball player in his day, but he's an idiot when it comes to commentating. not just because of his arrogant indignation against lsu, but he generally makes little sense when it comes to breaking down the "why's" to the games.

The Tigers committed the unpardonable sin of beating Smith's Buckeyes for the National Championship in 2007. Screw him.

You don't get bigger homer than Robert Smith, and that goes for any analyst on TV and any school. What ever happened to the Robert Smith is retiring early from the NFL to become a doctor because he is one of the smartest players in the NFL? Total joke.

You know damn well if Notre Dame would be playing like LSU is against lesser opponents, ESPN would be all over their asses with slobber. That's the biggest reason a playoff system is needed, to get rid of the ignorant human element that are those like Robert Smith.

f espn. I'm so sick of hearing how impressive Boise was last night but when Ole Miss beat Fresno not one word was said. I understand Boise won by much more than the Bears did but that doesnt mean shite.

Saw the same thing and it was utterly unprofessional. For a lot of people, grass eating Les Miles is a sideshow act at the carnival. Don't hate on me, I'm only offering an explanation.
