I will be going to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in a couple of weeks, but does anyone know of a good place to eat there?
I'm already scared for my life of the cold weather, and I know i'm going to need a good hot meal to warm me up.

Been there many times deer hunting. Not a lot of choices to be honest, mostly chain this and that. Denny's, Pizza Hut, A&W, KFC and the likes. The best food I ran into was the hotel restaurant at the Saskatoon Inn. The Keg isnt bad either. Keep in mind that Canadians generally prefer their food quite bland. Their "Xtra Hot" wing would be the same as "Medium" or "Mild" in the States.
Saskatoon is quite small by city standards, with about 200K folks..
A plus is that the beef in the region is generally fantastic and very inexpensive. I went to a Prime Rib buffet back in 2007 for $8 per person Canadian with all the fixins..
Dont worry about the cold, theres very little distinction between -5 and -20. Its the 30 mph wind thats gonna kick your arse...

The Keg is an actual restaurant. The club is probably "Crazy Girls". I went there on my first trip to the Great White North, after seeing some of the gals it became clear that the locals must put on some weight to survive the harsh winters..

I havent been up in two years, I do miss getting frisked and harassed by the Indigenous women working for the Canadian TSA. Nice folks...

well, we told him where to eat, where to spend his $1 bills, where to get his deer mounted. I could tell him how to put his sammiches under his armpits about 45 minutes before he's ready to eat them, to thaw them out a little bit in 35 deg. below weather,,, yes TD is an amazing place..

The most valuable lesson I learned is... when you get to your blind remove your boots and slip your feet into some boot blankets. Add a few of those hand warmer packs you buy at Wally World and your feet will be toasty for hours.
Learning to control your breathing when glassing so as not to fog your binocs is a learned behavior too...

I live/hunt/ski in Montana and this made me LOL. Frozen Clif bars are not good for the teeth.
It doesn't usually get that cold here - but once you get below zero - who's counting?

well, the armpits take a little of the crunchiness out of the lettuce...

I wish! I have to do some work up there at the University.
ETA: Oh and thanks for the tips. I've been to a different "The Keg" before. Not a bad place for a beer and a hot sandwich.
