Patrick Petterson running out on Senior Day?

Sr Day is something that is earned.
Peterson has not earned a sr day, I don't care how good he is. LSU hasn't done it for other players why start now.
Had Tebow come out early, I don't think he deserved a sr day.
Now if Peterson decides to invest another year academically while going through the football grind of spring, summer, fall workouts then he will have earned a sr day.

So do you want to be an a-hole and tell one of the greatest, if not the greatest, athletes that's come through LSU, he can't run out with the seniors his last year as a tiger?
Not to mention his little brother is coming so you know he's sung high praises about our program, even though he was here during Miles worst 2 seasons!
If Peteraon was a sophmore and leaving for the pro's, I'd support him running out with the seniors! He's gave us some awesome memories in the 3 short years he was here. Thanks PP7 for the way you've represented LSU on and off the field!

So applying this logic, anyone that is not going to be with the team next year should be allowed to run out on senior night? While I respect his play Peterson himself should not even be considering this and if he is he is being very selfish in my opinion. Even if this is something the seniors vote on I would have much more respect for Peterson if he declined the invite to run.

I think it should be up to the actual seniors. If Shep and company want him out there then so be it... I absolutely think he should get some recognition... the guy will go down as one of the all time greats and has always made me proud to have him wearing our colors, on and most importantly, off the field!

If he does, they should rename it Last Home Game as a Tiger Day, so it will be accurate.

I agree with giving him recognition just not during the ceremony or announcements for Senior Day!
