Anybody ever hunted Twin Silo's in St. Francisville? If so, how is the hunting. What can I expect as far as size of deer.

Never heard of it, but deer hunting in general around St. Francisville is pretty damn good. Not to mention hunting out of a silo means you can cover some serious ground.

Are you going with Aerial Access? They took us last year and we saw plenty of deer but no shooters. Really nice as far as the lodge, eating, and drinking. I have no information on bucks due to our group not seeing any.

The owners converted two silos into a camp by joining the two with an out-building

Get ready to shoot some hogs. The deer hunting has really gone down hill due to a huge explosion of hogs. It used to be prime, but now is getting harder and harder to see deer due to the abunmdance of hogs.

You didn't go last year with AA. They lost it 2 years ago and had a place in Miss last year.

I shot a small 8 there 3 years ago. Saw lots of deer and no hogs. We did trap a couple while there. The lodge is awesome.

I used to go out there alot in the late 90's when my cousin guided deer there. Never hunted the property but rode around alot and saw alot of deer. Once he quit guiding there we hunted right up against it on Cat Island along the twin silos bean fields. Killed lots of deer but no monsters. Several nice 8 points. There were tons of hogs out there. I know they have some good deer there but have never seen any giants come off of it.

How did this thread re-emerge from a year ago? Helluva job with the search engine.
