The Hornets would beat a team of All-Stars tonight...

"Nov 15, 2002...8yrs ago 2day my grandfather was murdered by 5 teenagers...We LOVE YOU n MISS you Papa...evrything happens 4 a reason I guess" - CP

No way we lose.

From Wiki:

" That same year, at the beginning of the season, Paul scored 61 points in honor of his grandfather, Nathaniel Jones, who, days before, had been beaten to death. Paul scored one point for every year his grandfather lived. When Paul reached the 61-point mark, he intentionally missed a free throw, then took himself out of the game even though the state high school scoring record of 66 points was well within reach.[2]"

I saw that piece on ESPN while he was still at Wake... I instantly became a huge CP fan. He plays with so much emotion as it is... tonight is gonna be another level.

Me, too, that changes everything. Hornets win this one going away. If only I were in Vegas...

I remember this. He talked aobut it on that showcase they had on him on espn a while back. He chocked up when talking about it. They were very close. Tonight CP3 shows why he is the MVP. I am glad we have the best player in the nba on our team in Louisiana.

We already know Kidd gets embarrassed by CP all the time, but now... It's over.. Drake style

And if someone comes in here with some disrespectful stuff, there cake's getting baked

I expect a double double from him every game. He's had 5 career 7+ game streaks of consecutive double doubles. In his last full season he had 50 games of at least 10pts/10asts.

But I digress. I'll certainly take 20/10, especially if DX is hitting his shot.

Edit: on another note... Basketballreference.com is like crack.
