The battle for the Magnolia Bowl starts this week..time to put more trophies in the atrium.

All the other names were probably too "unproper" in terms of political correctness..so this was the best fit.

I'm not normally very keen on change and "new traditions" but I have no problem w/ this game being called the Magnolia Bowl! I've got family riddled throughout Mississippi, (a few were Ole Piss grads) and I'm a current LSU student! I'm pumped for this game GEAUX TIGERS!

Ole Miss' motto for the last (2) seasons has started with the montra:
Magnolia Bowl (x)
Egg Bowl (x)
Cotton Bowl (x)
Id say that would be a lil tougher for them this year.

I just call it the Ole Miss game.
But I would have accepted the Go to Hell bowl!
As in
LSU Fans: "Go to Hell Ole Miss!"
and
Ole Miss Fans: "Purple Shirts, Yellow Britches, Go to Hell you sum-bitches!"
Better than some forced PC name...
