I'm starting to get used to mid afternoon games. Besides it means we are still a big television draw.

I think we should be able to deny a TV selection or have one game a year where we determine what time our game starts and let the Networks adjust to that.

but that would never work.

Ok, nobody hates CBS afternoon games more than I do BUT......the other option is NOT very appealing. I know "tradition" but I also know that if LSU weren't WORTHYof tv slots, then we would not be very happy. Believe me, lack of success will STOP all of this day game crap but is it worth the trade off? Sure LSU can go back to 7:00 kickoffs EVERY week but when that happens, it will be because LSU will have lost all relevance in the big scheme of college football. Bitch & moan all you want but, for the most part, the big boys of college football play while the sun is still up-better for tv ratings & money rules. But it still pisses me off too!

But it is ruining the tradition at Death Valley which this is not. War Memorial Stadium at night would be horrible. You probably couldn't see the game.

Only reason it was a night game last year was because it was on ESPN not CBS.

and they've picked up the Arkansas game so people can love 'em less.
