Anyone ranked above us needs to lose. All teams we've played already need to win (except for Auburn, who is in the first category)

We need Idaho and San Diego State to be on that win list as well, since they play BSU and TCU, respectively.

Think we have more of a chance of getting Idaho to cooperate.

They play @Idaho on Friday. Not gonna happen. Our best shot for a Boise State loss is @Nevada on November 26th. Fresno State is their second toughest remaining game on November 19th.

TCU has San Diego State and New Mexico left. San Diego State this week is the only shot at a loss.

We need Pitt to lose at some point (presumably to USF) and for WVA to win out...making them the Big East Champs. It may not be quite that simple...but it's close. The crazy (sucky?) thing about the Big (sucky) East is that Pitt has no conf losses and EVERY other team in the BE has two conf losses making second place one giant cluster at moment.

the best thing would be that the Big 12's top teams pick up a loss between now and when they play for the championship, so they already have 2 losses each.

It depends on your dreams who you need to lose.
I dont see LSU getting to #2, based on all the things which would need to happen, and TCU is NOT losing another game, so I would be happy with LSU going 11-1, Auburn wins the SEC champ game, and LSU would be invited to host the Sugar while Auburn plays TCU for the national championship.

So in my scenario, I need Oregon to lose, so Aubies get to play for the championship.

If you want only LSU to succeed, you have the parlay of needing the Aubies to lose to both Georgia and Alabama.
THen 11-1 LSU plays for the SEC championship, ideally against USCe because the computers will only reward us once for beating Florida. If a couple of higher ranked teams lose, then LSU can be #2 and play for the national championship, I would suppose vs TCU. And if not, they can sleep well, knowing they are hosting the Sugar bowl as SEC champs, not bad.

Yeah I want Fla to beat South Carolina. UNC if they beat V Tech will be huge for us as well.

Would help if Utah loses to ND too. Would hurt TCU credibility
