If I am hunting from my truck, I will be sitting inside with the heater and radio. Sitting up top in that camo blind

I know people who have killed a lot of deer sitting in a truck with the heater and football games playing on the radio. find a pipe line, road, crossing etc... and you can do some damage.

eta: not a public road of course but a lease/property road.

I do this all the time on our land. I drive my truck the powerline, and just sit. I can last all day listening to the radio, eating, doing homework.

Out in Texas allot of people hunt this way. I heard of one guy that has a F-250 diesel with a remote station up top in the box stand. Dude can drive the truck fly bridge style

I've seen these trucks. Linex EVERYTHING and run the steering wheel up through the roof with a couple seats up there. pretty cool.

There was a guy in Des Allamends getting a deer stand welded on top the drivers seat of his mud boat

He had a dam tuna tower on a 16' boat

We thought about that. Would have been great for some of those hard to reach areas of the lease.

I think the way the bed walls flip out and open is pretty nice for work space

the new dodges have something similar for storage. I don't know that I would want it. Seems like after a while it may loosen and rattle. I think its called the Ram Box.

this one time, i took a buddy hunting for his first trip. Probably one of the coldest mornings of the year.
We hunt until about 9:45 get in the truck and wait for our 3rd podnah to come to the truck. He's sitting in the back seat of my truck, I had the heater running and we were listening to some talk radio. As i look in the rear view mirror, we have about 6 does about 75 yards behind the truck. I tell him to pick one out and take his first dear. I'm watching it all unfold looking in my rearview mirror.
As soon as he shot I saw her drop dead in the tracks, we were pumped. Put the truck in reverse, drop the tailgate, pick her up and go back in forward to pick up my other buddy and we were out of there. Great memory.

That looks like the kinda truck where a t-rex eats the person sitting on the top deck.

That, or it's a low powerline away from a redneck beheading.

I love the way it has a blind and a front porch area for lounging
