What happens if LSU wins out, Bama beats Auburn, and Florida/S Carolina beats Auburn in SEC Title game? Where does that put LSU? Winner of SEC Title game plays in Sugar? LSU in Rose?
Your thoughts??

that could be a bad scenario for us.

Florida/SC goes to the sugar.

depending on the final bcs standings if auburn is still ahead of us then we are left out.

only two teams per conference can get a bcs bid...

which is a joke.

there have been years when the SEC should have had 3 or more teams in the BCS.

LSU-BCS bowl
UF/USC-Sugar

I don't see Sugar taking an SEC team with 4 loses and the loser of the SECCG. I see them taking LSU unless the Orange bowl takes LSU, I think we do get a BSC bid if we win out.

automatic QUALIFIER doesn't mean that the sugar selection committee HAS to invite. Hense the term "qualifier".

2 Loss Auburn wouldn't go over a 1 loss LSU

Auburn only loses two IF they lose to bama and in the SECCG.

If history is an indicator it would probably land us in the BCS along with USC/UF. They would proabably pass on an Auburn team on the slide, espescially one that host to an inferior East Team. It would kind of be like 2001 when Florida went to the BCS and not Tennessee.

nah. The Rose will either their usually Big 10-Pac 10 or Big 10 vs a Non AQ.

Dude, the winner of the SECCG gets an auto invite to a BCS bowl. There is no way around that.

SO, if Auburn loses to the SECE winner, that winner goes to the Sugar, most likely. Auburn or LSU would likely get an invite, with LSU sitting at 11-1 and Auburn at 11-2.

BCS standings don't matter except for the top 2. The bowls can take any eligible team for an at large. Don't discount the possibility of someone taking a 10-2 Bama team that beats Auburn. That said I'd think an 11-1, top 4 at worst LSU would get an at large, Fiesta vs Big 12 Champ or Orange vs ACC Champ

Sugar will be out, so I would say if Oregon wins out, they will play TCU for the NC. Boise would play the Big 10 winner in the Rose and Then Orange would pick LSU. Rose Bowl will have first choice since Oregon would be in the NC and I can't see them taking LSU over Boise to play a Big 10 team. We could go to the Fiesta, but more likely to go to the Orange.

Out of what? they will most likely take UF/USC if they win the SECCG.

pretty sure you have to be in the top 14 plus have a minimum of 9 wins, so BCS does count for something.

LSU would be an at large if they win out regardless of what Auburn does. If Auburn lost any remaining game, they would get pounded in the polls due to a perceived lack of defense.

The bowls make selections based on revenue and they know LSU travels.

If AU losses two then They will be behind LSU anyway[IF LSU WINS OUT].

I would LOVE to play Boise in the Rose. Or Stanford.

Winner of SECCG goes to the Sugar Bowl. Then unfortunately and sadly, it becomes a business decision for the BCS bowls with At-large spots, i.e. who would sell the most tickets and produce the highest viewership.
