been waiting awhile for some trade-ins to surface again at this price. everyone should order one. do it. H&K P7s $499 HERE!!

P.S. to those who know nothing of this mythical pistol i suggest you look it up. it really is a masterpiece of firearms design and function and is touted as one of the most accurate and reliable carry pieces by many. so why didn't this pistol catch on?? because at the time it was claimed to be the most expensive (not custom) handgun a consumer could buy. so, it was largely adopted by police departments and german special forces (GSG 9, German Army). They are somewhat rare to find and usually fetch $700+. Yes it may look ugly at first with the squeeze cocker and all, but shoot this piece and no doubt you will fall in love.

Have you ever done business with this company before? Looks like a large scale dealer.

Said you don't get to hand pick, but the wood stock IMO is way better. Wish you could specify.

Propa: I've looked into getting a 9 for CCW/Fun.
If you had to compare the H&K P7 (I am a H&K fan) to a Glock 19/26, what would you say?
I'll add that I decided to go w/ the 19 if I went with a Glock 9.

I think the P7 is the ultimate CCW weapon. Aside from superior accuracy, functionality, easy concealability (note it has full a 4" barrel in its small package), and low bore axis, it has the squeeze cocker that lends itself perfectly for CCW use. Striker fire guns without a squeeze cocker carried with a round chambered do so in a charged or semi-charged state (glock would be 3/4 charged or whatever it is). The squeeze cocker allows you to quickly and naturally charge the weapon as you grip the handle bringing it into a ready to fire state. You may be thinking thats not a big deal because your SA/DA carry piece allows you to carry with a round chambered in an uncharged state. However, on a DA/SA you carry loaded with the hammer at rest but your first trigger pull is a lot heavier than your second, third, etc. Using the squeeze cocker on the P7 allows every pull to be a single action (lighter) pull allowing for more consistent shooting.

Upside for the glock is carrying more rounds.

Just my 2 cents. Whichever gun you are more comfortable with and shoot the best is the best CCW for you.

Did anybody else pull the trigger (see what I did there) on this deal?

That sure looks sweet!
Now, you're making me reconsider getting one.
If it had the wood grip, I don't think I could resist.

I don't think any of these at top gun supply had the wood grip. All have the stock black grips. Wood grips online cost anywhere from $60 to $125. But they do look sweet, and I might have to order a pair soon.

Have you shot it yet? Mine is on the way and I'm excited to receive it. I remember seeing this gun many years ago for sale new and being bug eyed at the price.

No, haven't had the chance to shoot it yet. Will probably get out of town this weekend and have some fun with it. I picked up one extra used mag. They're not cheap, so I might keep shopping for a better deal on one or two more.

It's looks and feels like a perfect pistol. It's the kind of gun I could see people owning more than one of. I'm pretty sure you'll love it.

The woman I spoke to when I ordered told me they expected more. I've seen threads on this on various gun discussion boards indicating there are tens of thousands of these pistols coming to the US, so if you want one, I think you'll be able to find one.

The website for cdnninvestments dot com lists P7's for sale. But they don't list a price, you have to call for that. They say they are Grade A, not the Grade B that top gun supply was offering. And the cdnn site offers two magazines (extra mag will cost you about $50 to $75.
