Any personal reviews on this movie? My roommate has been wanting to watch it and it sounds pretty nuts.

It's the feel good movie for the upcoming holiday season. Sit down with the wife and kids by the fire and watch Antichrist for a unique and heartwarming outlook on love and loss.

Is it in Redbox? "The Human Centipede" is in Redbox. Maybe I'll suggest it to my mom.

The last 45 min of the film are a must watch, however disturbing.

Is this about the 2009 version with Willem Defoe? After seeing this thread I searched netflix and it's on instant stream. May watch it tonight while I knock out some homework.

There was a thread several months ago about it and several of us sort of reviewed it. Personally, I think it's a fantastic movie. It's both beautiful and disturbing at the same time. If you like abstract movies that are open to interpretation, then you'll probably like it. If you like your movies sort of cut and dry story-telling, then you probably won't like it.

It had some really good visuals. Stuff I haven't forgotten. Stuff that was too real...

It sounds like I might have to check it out. I saw it on instant queue that's why I mentioned it. The controversy is making me more and more intrigued about it.

This movie was OK. It kept my interest throughout the whole thing, which is unusual for these "shocking" movies, most of which bore me to tears.

does anyone really understand this movie? i get bits and pieces of it. buts it so damn bizarre. i tried looking into and got conflicting "its all a hoax" and being art for arts sake. to other things like a true masterpiece.

I like to read others' interpretations of it on other forums like imdb and watch it again to see if I can agree with them. But to me, "understanding" a movie is the least interesting part about it. The way the story is presented is what is most important to me. The message can come later.

What does that even mean? Antichrist was a love letter/homage to Andrei Tarkovsky who was a visual poet and a brilliant director

Starts fast, middle is slow and boring, but last 20 minutes or so will blow you away.

Puts a new meaning on the wife being referred to as "the old ball and chain".
