Seriously, can you name any single player who has mastered his position more than Peyton? Does this make him the greatest ever? This guy simply walks onto the field and puts on a clinic every week. I have been watching football since the mid 80s and thus my perspective is limited. That being said, Peyton is much better than Marino, Montana, Favre, Brady, Aikman, and Elway. Elway may be number 2.

If you were not a Vols fan you might have a little different view. No way he is better than Montana and Aikman.

football, Rice is the only other person I could say. And prob some running backs. QB wise, there's nobody though.

Shaq might be up there too.

I'm not sure if you just meant the QB position or anyone's position in general

you will get a lot of arguments but no other qb has ever been able to line up, read the defense, then audible the play almost every down

Montana was a great passer, but Montana didn't line up and dissect the defense like Manning does

Wilt Chamberlain, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Kareem Abdul-Jabar were pretty good at center too.

He's better than Brady and definitely better than Aikman, but you're going a bit overboard with the "much better" on the rest

it would be fricking hilarious to find out all the "audible's" manning was doing were complete bluffs to make the defense change assignments

Even players that have been traded from the Colts to other teams know his audibles and they all say that despite knowing what is coming, he is just too good to stop.
