While I think Lee should start, the odds are that at some point, JJ will have a good game. It is nearly impossible to continue to play badly every single game, and so I'm hoping he'll play well on Sat and come out of his slump.

I am due for a lottery victory. I have played it every week for years now and haven't won....

If JJ plays like he played last year against them before he got hurt, we are in business!

You obviously have inside information....who is your source? CLM? He claims that they're doing all the right things in practice.

That said...JJ is going to play/start. We know this; I hope to God you're right.

Well, the way I figure, the mental side of things has to resolve itself at some point. Each game brings more pressure. Eventually, you grow through, and you resolve it within yourself. We are at week nine, so I'm just hoping he will come alive and have a great game. If he does, we can win.

Past performance is the best predictor of future performance. You think after three years it will just click for the guy?

He's a failure as a passer. Numbers don't lie. Come to terms, dood.

That's true. However, he's never been this bad of a passer. If he could just come back up to average, I'd be happy.

He has shown no signs of improvement, therefore I think what we've seen so far is what we can expect.

Let's hope that he plays like he did against TENN two years ago in the Sec Championship game. I'd take that any day.

When do we give up on the "he is playing badly" and just come to the conclusion that he is just bad??

JJ was as good as he's gonna get against Auburn. I think he had his good game already.

Are you referring to his high school numbers? You obviously had something very good happen to you recently..you are just all sunshine.

He shows flashes every game, but his inconsistency is killing the offense. I would love for him to have a complete game this weekend. Do I expect it? Not any more than I expect Crowton to call a game that keeps Bama's defense on its heels.

He's not bad. Anxiety is clearly inhibiting his play. It's mental. Not that he's a top draft pick waiting to break out but he can be a good college QB. If he were playing like he did last year, I think we'd be 8-0. Even so, my pick is for Lee to start because he's playing better. Lee has learned to deal with the mental. I believe that's the journey he's been on since he was Mr. Pick Six.
