With the talent we bring to the table, that could be pretty much anybody.

The better question would be which ones are not available. There are more available than not available.

Jimbo Fisher left because of Miles, GC looks worse than he really is, because of Miles.... Now you are a top OC, do you want to come to LSU as long as Miles is here???

Fisher didn't leave because of Miles. He got an opportunity that he wouldn't have had at LSU right now.

Yes. Crowton is the highest paid OC in the SEC, so everyone knows you are going to get paid big bucks if you are the coach at LSU.

Also, every football coach in America thinks they are the greatest, and have a big ego. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. That's true of every great athlete/coach. Every good OC will think they can turn around the LSU offense. The talent we have is very attractive.

Very true. I tend to believe the whole head coach in waiting thing was agreed to under the table when Jimbo signed the deal with FSU.

Wrong, that was not the only reason. He did not know when Bowden would retire.. Miles tried to stick his nose into the offense too much and Fisher would not put up with it..

Please. Fisher's offense sucked under both coaches, with the exception of 2001.

Then why didn't he accept Saban's offer for the same position at Bama?

After 11 months Fisher had a clause put into his OC contract that said if he wasn't HC by Jan. 2011 he'd get paid $5 million by FSU. I'm pretty sure FSU wouldn't have agreed to that if they "weren't sure" when Bowden would be gone.
