Does it make you think that all these high school talent raters don't know so much or that their coaching is that much better than everyone else?

This year their D is pretty decent...
but the problem for them would be to play BIGGER lines week-in, week-out.

O line is undersized, but fast
OK for now/then games, but I do not think they would hold up on a weekly basis.

I was thinking that regarding our QB scouts ???
I know we can not develop them, but can we even recruit ??
I see many other freshmen QB making strides....are we just not evaluating properly, or maybe what we are looking for in a QB and what we need not a match ??

coach kelly is aggressive on offense. if you challenge the run, he passes, and vice versa.

it's obvious that he actually runs well designed plays. he gets his receivers wide open the whole game, no matter who they play. they are well coached to do what he wants.

And look at auburn -you have to be impressed with their blocking schemes. they are obviously well coached.

some staffs do a better job than others. we have a ton of talent on offense but no one seems to know how to make good use of it.

What I think is we see an LSU staff that can't develope players once they are here due to boneheaded decision making.
We have a starting QB that shows no signs of progression during his time in Baton Rouge. We have another QB thrown to the wolves his first year and is persevering - this one actually has proven stats that he can produce more than the starter and our HC can't seem to see that.

I think Oregon is VERY well coached. Kelly has a great offensive mind.

In regards to LSU, we have talented players but we don't have a great offensive minded staff. I also think there are different philosophies about the offense. I think what we are seeing is mish mash offense trying to incorporate different aspects of different offenses, as to not bump heads. The problem is that the QB situation is so bad that it severly limits play-calling and the staff really doesn't know what works best for this team.

no, it makes me think people like you aren't smart enough to realize they play in a garbage conference...any wonder why the computers have then #8 but the humans have them #1...the computers take into account the schudele...one of the better teams in the pac 10..oregon state..as late as last week was rated #119 in total defense.....so go figure....I'm not a boise state person...but funny how oregon did the same thing last year...except when they played boise...i think they had 7 points that game.....get a clue kid.

okay kid you got us here....but think about this...maybe, just maybe.....the scouts of sec schools and lsu know just a little bit more than you do.....okay? Masoli was a heisman candidate in that weak arse pac-10...he was awesome looking...and probably would have won it had he been allowed to stay at oregon....have you seen him in the SEC? It's not even a comparison...but the kids like you just cannot understand that......wow.

It's hilarious to listen to you guy say things like oregon is VERY WELL coached and we suck...lol......there were a lot of poeple saying the same thing about the big 12 a couple years back when the offenses were scoring 50+ a game. The aeverage shiny rim fan had no clue it was because of poor defenses....when these teams actually played good teams in bowl games...the conference went 2-7......i just don't understand why you people aren't smart enough to see that....i guess you want so much to believe in the flash and the bling it just clouds your thinking.

Well it makes me think people like you aren't even smart enough to look at what happened when we both played the same team. Oregon beat the pants off of Tenn in Tenn. We had to get a gift from God to beat Tenn at home. Oregon would run wild on us no matter what conference they play in.

okay dumbass....lets look at this...where do you think miles ranks right now in terms of total salary package in college football in terms of highest paid? Where do you think lsu is right now in the bcs rankings? I'd say he is right in line with his pay.....7-1 and ranked #10 with a great shot at moving up with victory this week.....just wow....think before you type.

This statement right here, more than anything else, says it all in terms of your actual football knowledge...if you really believe this, then you are even dumber than i thought when it comes to college football.
