Anybody catch this on PBS? It's a modern-day version of Sherlock Holmes from Steven Moffat (showrunner on Doctor Who).
I was a little skeptical of a contemporary Holmes, but it was really good. Apparently, there are two other episodes left to air.
I highly recommend this if you're a British TV fan or a mystery fan.

That's perhaps the best modern adaptation of SH I've seen. Will be looking for the next episode.

Was sceptical too, but liked it quite a bit. Liked that Dr. Watson is a bit of a freak too.
