Once they come down from their euphoria, Auburn fans should stew on this. After statistically dominating our Bayou Bengals, Auburn never could put them away. With 7 minutes left, the game was tied 17-17, and LSU was one play away from taking the lead.
By the way, I have no fear of Gene Chizik. I hope he stays at Auburn for a long long time

AU better enjoy Newton.
Their collapse will be worse than Florida post Tebow.

Auburn without Cam is 8-4 or 7-5. But they have Cam.

Can't wait until he leaves, cause he will never be replaced.

Chizek and his staff seem to be recruiting very well. The rumor of their demise probably is grossly exagerated, IMO.

this is all a joke right? I guess you were not paying attention to how well their blocking was. They o line was pulling left and right and trapped our guys at will. Their receivers were excellent on blocking as well.

Their d line made our oline look like high school kids. Our d line never past the line of scrimmage.

So yes, this should HORRIFY lsu fans. But i guess the truth hurts for some of you. Denial

Cam Newton is gone after this year. No matter what Auburn does the rest of the season, he's not going to pull a Sam Bradford and risk an injury his senior year when he could be the 1st pick, 1st round for mega $$$ millions in the next NFL draft. Auburn won't be worth crap next year.

Arkansas' Ryan Mallett will also jump to the NFL after this season. Bank on it.

The Newton I saw is twice the player Tebow was. I'll be shocked if they don't win out.

+1

The only way the spread will win 7+ in the SEC is with a once-in-a-lifetime QB.

Would you rather lose Cam Newton or have Jordan Jefferson come back? Neither one is good

What I did see was that last year, with a mediocre LSU team, we skull-fricked them with no chance of escape.

I am sure this is why miles thought we could go in there and beat them with just about the same gameplan.

Not only will Cam be gone but 4 of the 5 starting O-Line will be gone and Fairley will be leaving early for NFL.

They better enjoy their possible BCS appearance this yr becaus ethey will crash down to earth next season

Provided Miles doesn't DiNardo us, the best LSU can hope for is to compete for the West title every 3-4 years.

Saban will own the west except when Alabama has a 1st year QB and LSU has a 4th or 5th year senior.

Auburn will challenge for 2nd place every 4 - 5 years, but usually finish 3rd or 4th.

This year is their one shot for the next 10 - 15 years.
