what would you say the odds of LSU winning would be knowing this information?

i'll add in a 2nd part

if somebody told you Friday that LSU would change up our D and play a non-aggressive, contain/soft zone with DLs holding up all game, what would you say LSU's chances were?

All week long people here did not want Chavis to blitz.

The only real way to gash our defense is to either throw it deep or to throw a well set up screen pass (our LBs tend to miss a lot of tackles).

You can't run it up the middle all day and expect success.

Crowton hates screens, except untimely middle screens.

I don't know what we're trying to do on offense any more. I don't know why we are so afraid throwing downfield to 6'4" and 6'5" receivers.

The D, while substandard, did at least keep us in the game (#1 O scored 24 points) and gave us a shot in the end. We were at midfield with 4 minutes left.

Especially out of the stupid pistol formation when the defense knows exactly what's coming.

You have to have a qb that has a deep ball threat. We don't have that.

have the DL worry about the runs up the middle and have a LB on 1 side outside and a S on the other side outside

have 2 LBs spying in the middle

play man with your 2 CBs and the other S

We threw it deep twice, and one was almost intercepted, and one was a TD drop(not counting Ware's pass).

I don't think I've seen LSU run a successful RB screen the entire season

I don't know if they've even attempted a screen

Our game planning has been awful all year and we've been getting by on superior talent

Did we get new QB's during the week? They can't complete the long ball. Period. As they mentioned yesterday, we complete about 30 percent of our passes over 10 yards. You can bomb away all you want but the end result is probably going to be the same as going to the line and spiking it.

Chavis should write a book on how NOT to defend the spread when their OL is bigger than his DL.

Chapter 1: Four D Linemen = Fail
Chapter 2: Read and React = Fail
Chapter 3: Don't Blitz the Corners = Fail
Chapter 4: Leave an Unassisted DE on the Read Side = Fail
Chapter 5: Don't Mix it Up = Fail

The pity of Chavis's performance is that he had a practice session with Trey Burton, who gashed him in the red zone, but he made no change in philosophy.
