Try laying blame accurately. Fairley made the entire Oline look like high schoolers and our Dline needed to slow down Newton. Neither line did what was needed. You can lay blame on the QBs, coaching or whatever you like. We lost the game because we did not control the line of scrimmage on either side of the ball.

Auburn played their best game at home, some acted shocked at this. Losing sucks, but we lost on the road to a better team. Why is it hard to give credit to a player like Cam Newton, the guy will more than likely bring a NC to Auburn this year. He will prove his worth at Bama. That game will be one that will be talked about in Alabama for many years. Accepting the truth is very difficult for alot of you, isn't it.

I sayd this earlier in the week that the key to this game would be for the O and D lines to dominate the LOS like they did against UF and that didn;t happen and it showed

It is hard to swallow. Just out-played, everywhere, except special teams.

Surprised? Been happening since any saban recruit graduated.

We have a coach that played in the trenches but it inept at recruiting and developing great trench play.

Agree.

But I would like to add that our coaches had ample opportunity prior to this game to organize an efficient run game. But they didn't. So no play-action available. And on the flip-side we depended too much on a passing game even though we have no solid passing QB.

this is so obvious. We have the most uneducated fans, I mean little bitches pretending to be fans. Wow we're not the best team in the west. Regarless of what these tards say, if the lines do their jobs, this would've been a win.

thats the way it played out, yes. I agree, the Barn was the better team because of Newton. However, our problem was the scripted game plan. We needed to attack their secondary from the get go and to do that, lee needed to start. jefferson has his stregnths and he had some nice drives but he can't get the ball downfield with any accuracy. once we hit a copule deep throws, that would've loosened up the run and maybe 90 wouldnt have had the big game he had.

Jeffesron did fine in the starting role yesterday. He completed some passes and we even opened the game with a pass wh woulda thunk it? If Randle doesn;t tip that pass for the INT then everyone would have been praising JJ for his first series so I can't put the balme on either QB it is all O line and D line .. Nevis is supposed to be one of the best in the nation well he surely wasn't yesterday. He was busting double and triple teams against UF and couldn't get past one mane yesterday.. They didn't come to play plain and simple

Have you ever seen Crowton call a screen pass?
Have you ever seen Crowton call a draw?
With a depleted Auburn secondary that was ranked 11 in SEC defense did you see Miles or Crowton call a deep pass other than the trick play that Ware threw? Both lines were OWNED by Auburn. I think that the players did not execute well and the scheme for both the offense and defense sucked (poor coaching and poor execution). There is enough blame to go aroung for everyone (also Auburn is a pretty good team but Saban will shut down Newton---bank on it). LSU will loose to BAMA and will loose to Arkansas. Ole Miss is 50/50. Next year LSU will not have Peterson, Nevis (who was neutralized by Auburn Oline), nor Sheppard.

It helps a defense a great deal (Aub)when they know the opposing team offense is incapable of completing a pass down field.

Gotta give ALOT of credit to AU. Their o-line and WRs blocked the heck out of us. It was pretty impressive...

neither the D or O line played very well.

the only part of our game that worked, was the kicking / punting, we were lucky to lose by 7...
in a game that with a different game plan, we could maybe have had a good chance to win.

For the most part I agree w/ you. It's irrational to overreact, for ex., concerning Chavis and the defense. His gameplan was poor, in hindsight, for this game. They should have blitzed, pass-blitzed, run-blitzed, stacked the line (what Auburn's defense did to LSU's offense). Chavis took a calculated risk, and it failed. I can live w/ that. What is becoming increasingly hard to accept however are the clock management/substitution debacles. In my mind, they are SO bad that it has warranted, for some time now, immediate action -- replacing the OC, NOW. LSU's national offensive ranking (in the 100s) last yr, and now this yr, says it all.

Well said, my sentiments exactly. We just got beat by a better team.

what-a-fricking-idiot

the players are LSU's players and graduates, not saban's, not mile's, L-S-U's

90% play at LSU because they always wanted to play there, not because of who the coach is

why can't people get that through their thick skull?????
