It seems to me that everyone and their mother gives LSU absolutely no shot in the game this weekend and more importantly the rest of the season. Even a lot of LSU fans aren't supporting the team due to Les's stupidity.

Comeon guys, give our boys some backing! We all know they are a hell of a lot better than stupid ESPN and others are giving them credit for. I'm seriously going to laugh when we dominate Cam Newton, but you know what will be worse is when they say it was a fluke or better yet say that we have no chance of doing anything the rest of the season.

I don't wanna say I'm super confident, but I can't wait to see this game and how the rest of the season plays out. What are your thoughts on sports analysts in relation to LSU?

Until Lee is taking most of the snaps in games and at practice.

They are guessing like everyone else.No one can predict what this team, players or coaches are going to do from one minute to the next.

Yeah, I noticed in USA Today only 1 in 7 of the analysts picks LSU. I think the reason we are believers is b/c we watch every game, and we have seen flashes of brilliance amid the steady stream of garbage (turnovers, penalties, poor execution). The media just reads each others stories. They don't watch all the games. I would bet most base their picks on ESPN coverage.

The thing is: we've played poorly and won close games. It has taken really strong outings for Auburn to win. This isn't a put down of Auburn; they're just realizing their potential. I sure wish we would Saturday.

But it really doesn't matter. And if we win, everyone in the media will jump on the bandwagon and call us 'sleepers'. They'll act like they knew it all along. It's their job.

I really don't think they will say anything like that. I think they'll call it a fluke or say, "Ehh they got lucky...they don't have any shot against Bama."

I seriously do not think it's even about the team anymore. They all are waiting for Les Miles to fail so they can have proof of his so called craziness and have something to boost ratings.

Reading this board and listening to last night's show, I wouldn't say LSU fans even support LSU.

The national media got it from the fans who boo in the stadium. If your fanbase can't support the team, the national media surely isn't going to.

I can't wait to see this team finally put it all together. We did it last year vs. the barners and I hope we can do it again this year. All we need is some consistancy from the 11 on offense in blocking, catching, running without fumbling and throwing the ball to the players wearing puple and gold. Avoiding the drive killing penalties would also be nice.

This +1000000000

Like seriously I blame Miles if we lose this game. The only way I see us losing this game is if Jefferson plays too much and fumbles/throws a pick in our own half twice.

That's retarded. I see an LSU loss to Auburn this weekend at Auburn as an upset.

Yeah- but they won't be lining up across from Auburn, either....

I wouldn't sweat the opinions of the "analysts"....There's a reason why "analyst" begins with "anal".....
