I think it's time for some

of our leaders to step up and demand Jefferson to tell Miles he wants to sit, or to fake and injury. This is insane to waste six drives and give them a touchdown. It's a three touchdown swing playing Jefferson half the game. This team has more talent than 03 and it's going to be thrown away.

I'm sure Jefferson would agree to tell Les Miles that.

You think someone can put some giardia in JJs drink before Saturday?

I think its time the fans STFU and let the coach's,...the real coach's run this damn strong team....they have done pretty good so far, regardless of what the ranters have to say....GO DO WHATEVER IT IS YOU DO...besides trying to be a COACH...

And you will be the same jackass that jumps off the wagon after Jefferson cost us a game. You honestly think that Jefferson is the best option out there? Anybody on the team that can run faster than him is better option at qb then him

Joking aside, if JJ went to Miles and just worded it that JL has played his way into the starting QB spot and that for that reason he will be content playing less for the good of the team, JJ would immediately turn from villain to hero and everyone would support him going forward. It's not admitting defeat if one acknowledges that the team has a better chance with the other guy playing more. he would earn the respect that he so badly desires in that one selfless act.

Are you 10 years old or just stupid to complain so much when we are soon to be 8-0 and #3

I'm on record here as a Miles supporter. Generally, since neither I nor anyone else on here is privy to all the information that the coaches have about the situation, I defer to the professional coaching staff we have and trust in their decision making abilities.
In my mind it will all be settled one way or the other this weekend. If JJ starts and plays a couple of series and we go on to win, either in spite of his play or because of it, all the complainers will have to stop and admit that Miles knows what he is doing since we will be 8-0. If JJ plays, makes a couple of really bad mistakes and LSU goes on to lose, then Miles will never hear the end of it and it might very well cost him his job down the line.
That's not to say that I think he is doing the wrong thing by playing JJ, because I don't know if it is or not. But if there IS some reason that JJ should be getting snaps, that reason is not readily apparent. To all of us observers and fans it seems clear that JL is the better QB and whatever the reason behind Miles and or Crowton not playing him they aren't saying or defending their choice. At least not defending it in a logical way.
I hope we win this weekend, though it would be a tough game even with a better QB than JL in the backfield. I just don't want to hear all the moaning and groaning that would happen the next two weeks if JJ plays and stinks it up in a loss to AU!!
