Last year I posted my brothers highlight tape on here before it was finished to get some ideas on how to improve it so I'm hoping you guys can give me some input that could help.

First off arrows will be added to the video after completion. My brother still has 3 or 4 games left so of course more plays will be added. Please let me know if I should remove any plays or any other ideas that could make it better.

A little background... My brother is about 6'1 220+. He's being recruited by LA Tech, ULM, and other small schools around the area. Schools are requesting film so we are trying to get a video together as soon as the season ends. Again thanks for any help. Anyways heres the link.

Damn good looking prospect. Who's he play for?

I could see him playing LB/TE/FB at the college level. He can lay some wood for sure...and he looks like he's got some good speed 4.5/4.6 range. Great ball skills and alot of toughness for sure.

Nice highlights! Nice return, one-handed catch for TD, hits really well. He looks like a giant on the field at 6'1. His competition is my only concern.

He's being recruited as an OLB by most schools. He's a 4.6 40. His weight is around 223 but he could easily be 230. He likes to keep his weight down because he's asked to play alot of WR right now.

Yea his competition is what is killing his recruiting. His wingspan is like 6'4 so he plays really big. He played at Amite High School his freshman year where he played a little free safety and started on the basketball team. My dad pulled him out and put him in a private school because of coaching issues at Amite. racism was getting out of hand. I will say this he seems to have his best games against the good teams in his league. They play Jackson Prep this week who beats good public school Mississippi teams all the time.

GeauxWarrior12,
First off, that is great footage and really done well. You can definitely tell you put some time into that highlight video. One thing I would do if I were you, and I only say this because it will help with schools trying to just watch your brother the whole time, is try and put an arrow on him before the play starts, that way, you aren't waiting for the end of the play to watch him. I don't know how you do that, but I am sure you probably do know. Again, if you can't, it still doesn't take away anything at all from the video, it just helps to find him early in every highlight. I wish your brother all the best in getting not only a scholarship but also getting to play football in college.

Any chance he'd want to walk on at LSU as a fullback? He could get a real shot at playing time with the way we fail to recruit fullbacks.

He's thinking about walking on at LSU because his gf goes to LSU and he's a die hard Tiger fan. He's getting looks from LA Tech and ULM. He went to both of their camps and did really well. He also went to the Les Miles camp, but sprained his ankle just 2 weeks prior and wasn't 100%. Ran a 4.7 40 and a 4.3 shuttle on that hurt ankle. Right now I'd say he's leaning towards Tech, but walking on at LSU is a very much an option.

Yea Trey I'm sure Drew would appreciate it. He's working his butt off so hopefully he gets a solid offer. Heard about Kyle to SLU. Great to hear. Close to home and a great program.

what video editing software are you using? you should try rendering at 1280x720 so it will fill the frame on youtube...if possible.

just my 2 cents. there are probably a lot of other folks here who know a helluva lot about editing video than me. hell it took me 3 years to figure out that tip!
