Does it take a lot of baseball knowledge to succeed at this game? I mean, a retard can become skilled at Madden or NCAA Football or most of the basketball games out there. I don't know the first thing about the sport, but The Show looks really intriguing for some reason.

I wish there was a football game with a great career mode of the likes of The Show, NBA 2K11 (without the crashes), and FIFA. Madden superstar mode has been shite for years now.

haha...nah i do have autosave...i had to pinch hit prolly a third of the time. Got really lucky in those situations.

All I do is some fielding and all hitting. Since I don't do any of the baserunning, my character gets steals against the wishes of the manager so he relegates me to the bench sometimes. Haha. I'm a RF but my second position is utility infield, so I usually get a start in one of the infield spots anyways.

i did this on '08 and had a few pinch hit situations thrown in there. the worst was definitely once when my streak was about 50 and i pinch hit in like the 8th inning of a tie ball game. of course i frick up and start going crazy. and then the game ends up in the 11th and i get to bat again and came through. i was so fricking nervous
