Have any of you booked a room in Dallas for the LSU-Oregon game next year? Which hotel did you chose?

If i were you, id look in arlington, cause thats where the stadium is located..Any hotel in the area of the stadium is gonna be nice but probably a little $$$..If you stay in downtown Dallas, its about a 20-30 min drive to the stadium without traffic

If you want to be close to the party on Friday night stay at one of the following:
W hotel
Hotel ZaZa
Mansions on Turtle Creek
The Cresent Hotel is very impressive too...

If you want to be closer to the stadium stay at the Four Seasons, Las Colinas or Nylo Hotel, Las Colinas. After those any old piece of shite from Dallas to Arlington will do. I would recommend doing it up in Dallas.

Any decent bars or anything in Arlington that would justify not having to drive 20 minutes?

Staying at the Crowne Plaza on Elm Street downtown Dallas. A shuttle service will be provided if the need is there as I was told. FTW

The Omni in Fort Worth is only two years old. It is hosting the AFC Super Bowl representative.

I guess it is too soon to know where the team will be staying.

All of the college games that were held there this year were REALLY pricey...hopefully the tickets through LSU will be a bit cheaper (like the SEC Champ game and Bowl games).

Don't stay in Arlington unless you are into the redneck drug scene like the locals are. Stay in Ft. Worth or Dallas. Most people will want to hang out in Uptown (McKinney avenue area) where a lot of bars and restaurants ....and douche bags are. Here is a list of uptown hotels. LINK. Personally, I'd stay at the Melrose. Its an old hotel with a lot of character.

Four months ago, I booked the Crown Plaza in Arlington, TX for $119 but was told by a friend yesterday they're asking $300 or more. Might be worth checking out anyway. Their shuttle will take you to the game.
