We owned UF in first half, but got too conservative in the 2nd. Had the Gators in the coffin, but couldn't put the nails in. Did we need to show more 2nd half aggressiveness...maybe throw more with Lee? The 2nd half reminded me of the UNC game. Great win! Your thoughts...am I pickin' fly crap out of pepper?

I got the feeling that they were trying to milk the clock the 1st time the offense went on the field in the 3rd. I can understand running the ball with JJ in the game. However, the run on 1st and 2nd and hope Lee can hit 3rd and long was a bit unnerving.

Yes, that was pretty much my only complaint of last night. I think we were getting really conservative, and we were helping Florida out. It almost came back to bite us, but our guys pulled it out!

This will come back to haunt this team.

He'll we chunk two incomplete, and there is all kinds of time on the clock. We ran it on them pretty well.

If it works out, we look like champs.

I wish wevwould have thrown it more, but there is a rationale for running. Hindsight is something coaches have to live with on their decisions.

Every 2nd half drive started with a run, and other than the last drive with Lee, every 2nd down was run too, regardless of down/distance. While we were moving the ball pretty well in the 1st, Florida adjusted and figured out we weren't going to pass in the 2nd half, and suddenly 8-9 guys showed up at the line again.

yes, 1st down run up the middle.

2nd down run.
3rd down 3rd and long. Everyone knows it is a pass.

We need more passing plays on 1st and second down.

We now have seen these guys to have a capable air attack!

Agree that we got pretty conservative there in the 2nd half.

Yes, way too conservative, and it almost bit us in the butt too.

I had flashbacks to UNC, and I thought the conservative calls actually lost the game for us this time.

Absolutetly way too much time on the clock to get conservative! Almost bit us in the arse. We've got to go for the kill once we get a lead.
