Lee has thrown a pass in only 4 games. In 2 of those games, he only threw 1 pass for the game. So far for the season:

27 for 36 = 75% completion rate
2 tds to 1 int

Jefferson's passing stats thus far:

53 for 101 = 52% completion rate
2 tds to 7 ints
0 tds to 6 ints in the last 5 games

Of course, this doesn't compensate for JJ's running compared to JL's lack thereof, but it's easy to see by the numbers (as well as watching the games) who needs to be our primary captain on offense.

Yeah, I parsed the numbers out.

Offensive was vastly more productive with Lee at the helm tonight.

I'll probably post it sometime tomorrow.

Make sure not to include JJ's 2 TD's. Those don't count. If you don't think our 2QB system was hell for Florida then you are delusional. Bama's young secondary will have no idea what to do.

All I need to know is that Jarrett Lee played in all 4 of LSU's TD drives tonight. He threw some great, catchable balls in a position where the receivers didn't have to make an extra effort to catch the ball before worrying about YAC. He's come a long way, and he deserves to see the majority of the snaps going forward until he becomes less effective.

Lee should see the majority of the action under center.

There is a role for Jefferson to help this team...no doubt, but Lee should take 75% of the snaps or about 45 out of 60plays IMO.

Well JJ played in those two. I don't think his contributions should be completely overlooked.

Can't disagree.

I agree, but it's hard to ignore the fact that when Lee didn't play, we didn't score TDs. This offense opens up with Lee at the helm. JJ offers a nice change of pace, so the QB rotation should be run opposite the way it's being run right now. Lee takes the majority of snaps, JJ comes in for the run/pass option.

Hence the 2 TDs listed. He hasn't thrown a touchdown since the 2nd quarter of the opener against UNC.

My bad. Didn't realize he did a comparison from 1st game to other games.

you delusional dude.... look at jj drives compared to lee's.. lee drove us down damn near every time.. im fine with jj playing in goal line but lee needs to get all the series now.. not to mention jj threw another very costly pick

And it comes out on time.. Thats the main beef I have with JJ some times.. Its not that he always makes a bad read.. Its just getting that ball out on time.. JL is looking pretty solid all around.

Very.. On 3rd and Long.. If nothing, just eat the ball and punt. D was playing great.. He's got to understand the situation.
