LSU won 24-13 @ UF Oct 2, and beat Bama 20-10 in 1982, the year I was born.

I was at that game. My first game ever in Tiger Stadium. I sat in the opposite endzone. Awesome.

Happy Birthday tharmon.

I was in the womb for the National Championship. And since I can sort of type, I assume everyone knows which one it was.

Edit: Oops. I originally Happy Birthday'd the wrong person.

I was there for that one as a student. Yes I'm old.

It is amazing how far the program has come since then. Now, I expect to beat Auburn every year, whereas back then, it seemed that AL, AU, FL, TN and GA could all kick the crap out of LSU. A win was a huge deal, b/c there weren't so many of those.

I was at that game too. Sat in the student section of the north end zone and had an up front and personal kind of view of Fuller making the reception. I take credit for that win since I had taken off my LSU jersey and put it back on inside-out. Rally jersey saved the day and caused an earthquake in Death Valley!

BTW, Happy Birthday, fellow Tiger! I'll remember that evening well into my Alzheimer's days that seem to be just around the corner.

I was at that game back in '88 and it really wasn't an earthquake. Back in those days, the seismograph was located in a building that was near Tiger Stadium, hence the reason why it registered. The seismograph has moved from that particular building to one that is further away from Tiger Stadium. I know this interesting tidbit from a professor that I had when I was in graduate school. FYI, LSU has had much louder games than that particular Auburn game and those games were never registered on the seismograph since it was moved to a different location on campus.

"It wasn't really an earthquake"
I'm fairly positive almost everyone knows this.

I was at the game with my dad in U22 (season tickets) - couldn't see the play all that well but what a finish.

I lived on campus (McVoy) - dad left early to beat the traffic & missed it!

If you lived in McVoy, it was because you studied too much. All the fun was to be had living in the Pentagon dorms, in the midst of a perpetual ad lib rock concert when everyone's windows were open and about half the residents there played either guitar, drums, keys, or TUBA (like the guy across the hall from me).
