Someone help me out.. why do you start Jefferson?

To me, it's a no brainer... Lee looked good, led the team on the game-winning drive... yet, He is starting Jefferson. Why?

There is a want to run teh football, and apparently Lee can't hand the ball of or quickly get it to one of our playmakers

Les thinks Jefferson is getting Ridley the yards he's racking up. In other words, our coach is a fricking moron.

I think it is so they can get a read on floridas defense before putting lee in... Then again in sure Florida is going to play differently against each qb so idk

no reason to have a "starting QB controversy" on top of the already-chaos-filled week of negativity.
Also kind of "eases" Lee into the starting role, rather than having his first start of the year be at the Swamp.
Not to mention Jefferson and the offensive "style" that we have with him in the game may actually give us the best chance to win at Florida given that their defense excels against the pass.

You know what a smart coach would do? He'd run the option to the wide side first play of the game with Jefferson and let him take a few steps towards the sideline, then 2 steps back and throw it down the field. Even an incompletion or a pick in that situation would make me feel a little better. At least I'd know the coaches are trying.

Because the last time Miles started JJ at QB, we had a 7-0 lead after 15 seconds.

I'm sure UF is going to open up their D like UT did and let Jefferson go the length of the field on the first play of the game. Come on duded, Jefferson's run was a fluke.

It just blows my mind. He won't be able to move the ball on their defense. They will dare him to throw, like someone else said you are wasting precious downs. Start Lee get him in ryhthm and spell him with JJ for some trick plays. I want Miles to succeed but this to me is beyond stupid.
