look i like our offense under Lee more than Jefferson, but only because i've seen the playbook open up under Lee. Starting Jefferson will keep both quarterbacks at their comfort level. Both are going to play regardless so I don't see the harm in bringing Lee off the bench when that's how he seems to thrive and it's what he's used to. It gives both quarterbacks something to work for. JJ doesn't want to give anyone a reason to pull him and JL not starting makes him do everything he can with the snaps that he's given (i don't think the quarterbacks could switch roles right now w/o one of them poorly accepting their new role). I think this is a strategic move that will help keep JL's poise and drive JJ to do better. Props to miles. Yeah, i just said that.

When you are hoping for a 3 and out for your offense as opposed to a turnover, that is not good.

You like Lee more, but don't want to start him.

That is dangerously close to Miles logic.

Well, I agree.

I think Lee will actually play better in this game off the bench.

This will be a very hostile crowd. You know the Florida D will come out of the gate fired up. Let JJ go in and try to run a few plays & feel them out. Then bring in JL and slice their f**kin throats over the middle.

FIFY

Why not start Lee and soften up the UF defense from the get-go?

C'mon, man. We're saving our weapon for later in the game. Don't want to tire him out.

I think this is an attempt to throw Florida off a little. I think Lee will start.

I agree with the OP.......I would not necessarily do it, but I can see the logic behind starting JJ.

I can't. You play the guys who give you the best chance of winning. That's not JJ.

Don't be so myopic - JJ is in there because Ridley is so much better with JJ at the QB. Stats don't lie, do they?
