Stevan Ridley- Never Look Back

With the recent unauthorized image reproduction and overall negative tone of many posters, I have been contemplating my activity here. However, I will not let the actions of a few control my decisions. I love LSU and will continue to create and post art.
I feel this image accurately describes both how I feel about this situation and the current season. It also describes the way in which Ridley runs.
Never Look Back
Tigers are currently undefeated.
And to correctly site a source:
This image was created from a photograph by Stacie Roberson. You can see the original as well as her other work here:

Thank everyone for the kind words. I was extremely pleased with this piece. Especially right now.
I guess I'm trying to say: "To those who have stolen my work- this is some of my best."

I posted this in another thread-
This is how I do my work:
1. Find the desired image
2. Render it to eliminate the background
3. Posterize the image- this is a key step. If you just use two colors, you lose a lot of the detail. I usually pick 7-9.
4. Change to greyscale
5. Individually decide which color to make each area. Clean up the edges of section. This is the hardest part which I usually do by hand with pens.
6. Use a program to convert bitmap to vector
Chaz,
I don't know if you do digital art but that is the process I use for each vector project. There might be a filter in photoshop that creates a similar effect. I'm not sure. That isn't how I do it.
If you don't graphic design, you can leave your email and I will be in contact. I'll do an image for your son but as it takes a while, I can really only do one.

I guess if they are going to rip you off, they might as well get your best stuff!

Yeah, he's hilarious. Though I think his accent has a little to do with that as well . I've been working down here in Fourchon with him for about 3 months now.

tim.
I've still got some work to do on my desktop wallpaper, but you've got me off to a great start. thanks for teaching me the proper fishing techniques
it looks awesome full-scale; here's my Dallas Tiger (playing OF this inning instead of SS):
thanks again, tim.

CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZ!!!!!!!
Look at you leveling up!
All you'd have to do to get it closer to vector is:
- Up your saturation and contrast (to separated "planes" of color)
- Select some of the more textured areas with the magic wand (set on 25-30)
- Use eyedropper to pick a single color for the section and then fill it (The dark area at the top can be filled with a single color, the grass could be broken down into 2 shades easily - you'll get the hang of it from there).
Then you can convert easily.
ETA:
Make that 3 colors for the grass - the 3rd being for the shadow.
