I guess he thought Les was a dummy when we beat them 2 yrs in a row. One on a brilliant fake field goal.

I'll take our dummy's record over Spurrier's same time period record any day!

Can't blame anyone who says Miles looked like a dummy Saturday.

Looks like maybe the journo is the "dummy"...

quote:

“Those were two of the real good offenses we had down there at Florida,” Saban said. “We looked like we were a lot smarter than he was the first two games. But recently, he was a lot smarter than I was last year. Let’s put it that way. Who knows who’s going to be the smartest this year? Who knows who’s going to be the smartest?

"Sometimes you can win and still be a dummy." - Steve Spurrier

This is exactly the point that appears to escape posters who simply reiterate "We're 5-0."

Low is looking for any reason to bash Miles. His team got beat last Saturday and its his best way to boo hoo about it.

That and Spurrier has never turned down the opportunity to bash another program.

What? You think referring to a recent case of a coach winning a game in spite of being a dummy could be a reference to Miles? Surely not!

Spurrier gets respect from his UF days......he probably shouldn't be talking about anyone and worry about what he's done since leaving Florida.

I would never call someone a dummy that has kicked my arse twice in the last 5 years.....just my O.

Like Spurrier said, a coach isn't always as good or as bad as his record shows.

The dummy outsmarted him in 2007 on that fake fg. That dummy beat him at home in 2008.

Has Spurrier ever beat Les?

Guys try a little reading comprehension. Spurrier is not calling Miles a dummy. He is making a point about how coaches in the sec are made out to be dummies when they lose and sometimes when you win. He is cracking a joke about the situation, but not calling miles a dummy.

Who on earth could be so blind that they would have to look for a reason to bash Miles? He manufactures reasons like a World War II factory and shoves them down the throats of anybody who has ever heard of college football. The only ones who are looking for something are those few remaining souls who keep looking for ways to defend him.

I love when Spurrier takes shots at people. I stopped hating Spurrier years ago. I love the guy now.
