So- the media is going after OUR head coach????
Maybe they should go after Dooley for not giving HIS team every possible chance to win.....

Hear me out.

Attempting to kick the extra point on the last play is usually required IF it could effect the final outcome of the game. Well guess what? It could have.

Dooley refused to bring his team back out of the tunnel to allow LSU the extra point try.

Think about this for a moment: If Tennessee would have blocked the kick and ran it all the way back the other way, they get two points & we go to overtime.

"Thanks, Derek!"

Only a moron would have lined up to kick the extra point..if they wouldn't have kneeled it there would be more shite going on..

If Dooley would have brought his team back out for the extra point, I guarantee you, LSU would have lined up and kicked the extra point.

The game was extended by 1 untimed down due to a defensive penalty... I do not believe a PAT was forthcoming.

Dooley was the only reason they were ever even in that game in the first place. Go luck at the spread on the game. It wasn't even supposed to be close. For the second straight year he came in to Death Valley and coached circles around Miles. Better watch out once he gets a little talent and experience over there in Knoxville.

False - SEC Officials confirmed that XP was required, but UT decided not to leave the locker room to play.

Yeah, no shite. Because we would have had 3 false starts, 2 holding penalties, a face mask, 4 delay of games and would have attempted the pat from our own fricking 3 yard line where we'd fumble the snap. But we'll work on this "issues" this week.

Dooley will never lose to Miles again. I will promise you that. Dooley came to our house with a team that couldn't make our practice squad and almost won.

Game over, no one kicks the extra point here. I thought he did a good job with a team that was a huge underdog on the road. Just got caught up in the nightmare scenerio during the last 30 seconds.

Dooley looks like the kind of guy who comes home and beats his wife every night.

We'll go up there and beat them next year. Mett will be starting at QB and our D will be even better.

Cool- but I doubt the powers that be in Tennessee will be willing to accept a string of "almost wins" for the next five years.

As for Dooley "never losing to Miles again", neither you or I know that for sure. All we do know is that he's 0-2.

....but he is 2-0 in "almost wins", by God.

Off the top of my head, you get only one point for that.

You get two for intercepting a two point attempt pass and taking it back. ??? do you?

You sure dont get two for blocking a 1 pt try.

A smart move on the extra point, if it had been required, would be to take a knee.

No, we won't. If Miles is still the coach. No we won't. Go ahead and write that off with a loss.
