Yes, I'm as frustrated as any of you. By now Les Miles has proven to all of us that he is in fact not fit to be our head coach, despite being 5-0 and 56-15.

BUT

This team has a lot of potential. If/when things click we can beat anyone. We need to get behind our boys.

In hearing Les and seeing his body language, its obvious Les knows. Les knows he F'd up, he knows he's in over his head and he knows he may lose his job. In fact a part of him probably thinks he should leave before things get ugly. Think about it, all you do is win and people still doubt you, no way out!
Basically, Les may not be the smartest guy or the best coach, but he is an extremely nice person and his players love him. We need to support our team here onwards, cheer not jeer and enjoy the ride.
This negativity will do us no good.

I also thought this after the Ole Miss game.

i don't have to back him. what does that even mean anyway? not complaining about him on this board? these are the same mistakes les makes year after year, and he hasn't learned from them. hats off to our boys for winning despite our coach though. they are gonna have to do it a lot more this season if they want to make it to a good bowl.

Into a corner with about 1,000 LSU fans carrying torches and pitchforks.

That's probably what is fueling all of the rumors that Miles is going to retire at the end of the year< leaving the program to Bo/someone else.

BTW, I don't believe those rumors, but they are present on some of the "insider" sites.

I think it's just wishful thinking. JMO.

OP makes some good points. As long as he's leaving at the season's end, he has my full support.
