Im not a football guru on x and os - just a fan, but here's what I learned.

Although the O-Line and receivers are just as good at committing procedure penalties when JL is in the game as they are when JJ is in, the tempo and rhythm of the offense is light years better when JL is in the game, AND JL's level of composure and poise, while not great, is head and shoulders above JJs.

Therefore JL should start the rest of our games.

We also finally learned the secret behine Miles' method on offense - act all stupid and confuse the defense. All those bone head plays from the last 2 or 3 years failed only by a measure of degree - they weren't stupid enough! We finally uped our game and found out just how idiotic we have to play to be able to confuse SEC defenses!

And so - Les Miles has cemented his legacy in LSU lore right beside Paul Dietzel's Chinese bandits with his (in)famous Chinese firedrill offense (an yes - I read this on here already but I promise you it was original last night when I first said it).

It seems to me that LSU is an average high school football coach away from championship caliber. LSU should find an ex-high school coach, put him on the staff, and let him call the shots in the final 5 minutes of every half.

Maybe LSU could get Curley back. That's what LSU fans need. Yeah. Curley. He'll make all the negatigers happy.
And when you come right down to it, that is why the game is played. Wins mean nothing.

Whats sad is I watched an 11 year old QB lead a scoring drive with ~ 1 minute to go in the first half just before the LSU game. He even got his team to the line and spiked the ball on the 10 yard line with 25 seconds left so they could get the play call in.

Sad to see a coach making 3.8 million fail at such basic football.

That is one of the best things I have ever read on here. That's it, "The Chinese Fire Drill" Offense.

The thing I don't understand is after the 4th down play on the last drive JL looked like he had two other plays called. He got them to the line each time but the last play didn't look like they had another play called.

I learned that coaching changes are needed badly for next year. LSU needs to hire proven coaches, not hacks.

Veritas. Sad, but true. Miles is THAT poor of a coach, and that spectacular of a recruiter.
