Seems like Dooley getting a free pass on blowing the game...

The REAL idiot is Dooley who lost the game for Tenn by not being able to handle The Hat's clever substitution scheme!
Seriously, why isn't everyone ripping the even more incompetent UT staff..the LSU staff tried to blow the game, but the UT staff actually did...

I bet Dooley learns from that mistake and it won't happen again. Can't say the same for Crowton & Miles.

he is getting ripped, but Miles has the longer track record of idiocy

We don't cheer for UT. If you go to their forums I am sure they are up in arms.

Dooley worked under Saban. This means he can do no wrong.

Because UT didn't do the same thing 8 games ago and are not ranked No. 10 in the country with 2 BCS championships in the last 8 years.

That dang Miles is a clever guy, all right! lol
I was on a Vol forum last night and many were not happy with his 14 man D scheme.
Tough loss for the Vol players, coaches, and fans.

If Dooley would leave his damn headset on instead of tossing it every 3rd play, they might be able to make substitutions properly.

Poor Miles. All he does is win games. We gotta stop that.

ironically, I had commented earlier in the day at my son's football game that due to the vast disparity in weight between the 2 teams, each team should be allowed a total of x pounds on the field, instead of 11 players...the team could decide to have many smaller players or fewer larger players, but could not exceed some total weight limit...I'm thinking Dooley was thinking the same thing knowing it would take 13 of his guys defensive players to stop LSU's offensive juggernaut.

I'm sure he's not getting a pass on the UT message boards. But LSU fans will focus on our headcoach because this is an LSU message board.

If you think Miles "won" this game please stop watching football. He didn't lose it, but had nothing to do with it being "won".

You cannot argue that Dooley is more incompetent than Miles. Miles has proven this on numerous occasions. And if you knew anything about the rules, you would know that the refs are supposed to allow Tenesee to get their substitutions in before the offense can snap the ball, which they did not due.
And here's some more foor for thought for ya, you may ave noticed that the center snapped the ball on his own, which was why it went right past JJ and our oline didnt move. Had he not done so the clock simply would of run out b/c of Miles and b/c JJ is too dumb to call a spike on his own

That argument would make sense if Tenn was actually trying to make substitutions when we snapped the ball. They were not.
All 13 men were set, and no one was coming off.

He gets paid well to win and to put up with any BS that comes his way. I think he handles both pretty dang well to this point.
Still...running but one play in 20+ secs at the end before the flag, needs to be addressed and fixed.
We can't expect every coaching staff we play to use a 14 man D scheme. lol

What UT did yesterday is like what happens to us every game...

lol
I hear you.
When I checked my tape of the game, I thought the Vols had 14. I thought I saw a Vol DB at the very bottom of the screen that the tv guys didn't seem to count. Am I wrong?

Do you think Dooley realized they had too many on the field? Surely he did as he saw the chaos of 4 running on and 3 coming off with 1 turning around and going back on the field. I think as he started celebrating in the back of his mind he was hoping to get away with it.
