I went into this game pulling big time for jj, so don't throw at me that I am just a lee supporter and hate Jefferson because I don't. When they announced the starting line ups I stood and gave jj a standing o because I hoped he would do great in this game, just like every other player on this lsu roster.

I noticed though, throughout the entire game that after lee would be put in that Jefferson would go sit on the end of the bench all by himself. He was there almost every time for the entire time until it was almost time for him to reenter the game. That showed me right there all I needed to know about his willingness to compete and want to be better. It made me sick to watch. Honestly I'd rather lee play ever snap the rest of the year, but if he happens to go down or we change in mop up time (which we probably will never have) I'd rather see one of the walk-ons on the field going in next. JJ lost all my respect. There is no room for this from a player who is competing for a starting job at any level.

Not surprised, he's not a "team player".

I'm sure it was made known that they would rotate series the entire game well before the game started unless one really outshined the other. Why pout about it every time you were pulled instead of stand on the sidelines and try to learn something from the defense and cheer on your teammates?

I feel the exact same way. When JJ is in, we see JL, as well as the other QB's, up, with clipboards, some of them headsets on working hard to get better. When JJ is out he sits on bench.

Tells me all I need to know.

I agree with this. JJ doesn't deserve to see the field again at LSU. I noticed this and also after a time out when Lee converted a fourth down play JJ walked right by Lee and never looked at him nor congratulated him on a good pass. JJ is done in my book.

Exactly...if im not mistaken Lee even gave jj a pat on the back as he was coming into the game in the closing seconds after lee had led the team all the way inside the 5. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the way lee handled things after all he's taken the past few years. I lost all respect for jj for the way he acted last night. If he doesn't play much the rest of this year you can bet on it that he will be at another school next season.

Diddn't see that much on TV, but I did notice it one time and thought 'why isn't he next to a coach?"

He did look sullen - as though he was being dissed or something.

I didn't need a single game this season to decipher that Lee is a more mature and better leader and better teammate than Jefferson. This was so obvious in the damn Spring game. Time to pull the chord on JJ. I really believe going forward that Russell Shepard should be the one to rotate with Lee to run the Wild Tiger and read option plays. JJ to 3rd string.

Just get better..don't cry about it, don't pout...get better and once you step on the field again don't let the coaching staff have the chance to take you out. That's how every first and second string qb should think.

Incase you didn't catch the show Wednesday, miles said they don't run the wildcat anymore because if you run the wildcat you need to have someone getting the snaps that in a threat to throw the football...and I guess shep wouldn't be that.

Seeing Lee going in on the last drive of the game and having the confidence to lead us down the field showed more than Jefferson ever has. Then pumping up the student section and even giving Jefferson a pat as he was pulled from the game shows he's the man.

I totally agree. When our idiot coaches took Lee out at the end of the game to bring Jefferson in with one frickin play (which was obviously going to be a qb keeper), Lee ran up to Jefferson shook his hand and gave him the good ol arse pat. You saw no encouragement from JJ anytime Lee entered the game.

I just finished watching the taped replay and saw this. I saw it happen live during the game, but I was so pissed off at the moment I didn't really take it in. Seeing it makes me even more pissed off.

And of course our arse backwards coach is going to start this cry baby again Saturday. I have never in my life not been behind a LSU player as much as him. Even if he plays decent against Florida, I will cheer for LSU (because the rest of this teams deserves to do well and win)...but he will never ever win me over again. His attitude last Saturday killed it for me. If Miles was any kind of coach he would have taken note of this and Jefferson would stay his arse parked on that bench the entire time they are in Florida.

I saw the same thing on the replay of the game on cox. You could tell he was pissed. I think he believes he is playing well.

You heard him after the WVU game..."Of course I'm happy..We are 4-0."

Instead of saying.."I stunk up the field and my teammates helped me get this win. I know that I need to improve and I will bust my arse all week long to help our offense get better. We are LSU..We do not belong anywhere near the bottom of the rankings when it comes to passing. It all starts with me..and I will get better."

Instead all we get is that he played good enough and he's happy. Tells you all you need to know about him a week before he pulled this shite in Tennessee.
