Let alone watching the teams in actuality..

Go carefully read the boxscores to date for LSU and Oregon..there are tells..aka 'timebombs'..for both..that have yet to take tolls until the stiffer competition arrives.

Good teams..yes.

BCSCG grade or complete teams..doubtful.

I agree, I just feel as if this team is special. I feel as if they know there weaknesses but also know that there strengths are strong enough to keep them in the big games. But only time will tell. I don't really think we will go all the way this year but, I sure feel like we will every Friday night and Saturday morning

Right now is my favorite part of the week. The night/morning before a game. Everyone is happy, optimistic about the impending kickoff, it feels good

And then after the game is when all those bad feelings come back

Kick away from PP, too much firepower for LSU, win by 10-14 points.

I'm guessing the lack of strength in schedule thus far as I can't see anything else. Yes they were tied with UT at the half, but then exploded in the 2nd half and probably beat them by more than LSU will today.

A great offense against a great defense. It would be a hell of a game. Our offense would have ro be much improved though. I think we finish strong this year.

The ONLY thing LSU would have going for it is Miles is great when given time to prepare while at LSU. LSU has a great defense, but they wouldn't shut Oregon down. You don't shut down offenses like they have. Oregon would score 24 minimum. Oregon would never give PP a chance to hurt them. LSU's offense wouldn't be able to keep up without great field position. LSU would need 3-4 turnovers and atleast 1 defensive touchdown to have a shot.

Gonna disagree. LSU would have a shot at Oregon and I think they could win. Ohio St. did a fine job last year. LSU is going to have problems with teams that have grind it out offenses and stout defenses from here on out.

As with every other team 8-9 games into the season is good place to take stock - weaknesses are either magnified or taken care of, strengths increase or diminish and the destructive toll of injuries can be estimated properly.

Having said that - may we have the right thing happen in all categories for this team

This is what we call a subordinate clause. It cannot stand alone. It makes no sense without an independent clause

It could happen if...

...LSU's offense finds life and the defense maintains its dominance. They would win the division this way, and the SECCG.

...Oregon gets through the conference with just one loss.

I don't know about the former, but I don't see the latter happening. You have to play EVERY other team and there are too many good ones this season.
