Observation about 4th quarter play:

JJ has been noticeably better in the first half of games than in the second. His stats always seem to dip the longer he plays.
JL on the other hand seems to be noticeably better in the second half (2008 - Troy, Auburn)
Not that im arguing for JL to come in at the half, just wondering if there might be a reason or if anyone had noticed the same thing

It's kind of a "who knows" situation to me. Marcus Randall always looked better coming off the bench than he did starting a game.

we are playing with the lead in the 4th quarter of every game. That makes the calls more conservative. Miles is trying not to blow the game at that point with our defense.

Psychological fragility for both. Jefferson can't seem to handle adversity. He starts out somewhat ok, but the first dropped pass or bad call and he starts pressing.
Lee seems to be uncomfortable with the pressure of starting. Once he gets in and gets focused on what has to be done, he's done some pretty damn good things. Unfortunately, the oneseason that we saw him regularly, he was forced to throw the ball all over the field because the defense sucked and we HAD to put up a ton of points.
