Alternative to Booing!!

Everyone, even those that are moved to boo, can agree that:

1) It sounds ugly
2) It is too open to interpretation. Are you booing a certain player? The offense? Playcalling? Execution? Coach? etc.
3) It just LOOKS ugly. Look at a person that is booing. Angry, furrowed brow, nasty looking.




So, I submit the following. It would need to start with the Student Section, since they are so adept at choreographed, planned displays.

IF JJ is beginning to struggle, etc. and he is still in the game:

To the tune of John Lennon's "Give Peace a Chance" ( LINK for those unfamiliar)

A group of students begins to sway in unison and singing..."All we are saaay-ing, is give Lee a chance. We love you JAAAAY-JAY, But give Lee a chance"

Keep repeating and encouraging those around to join in.

Thus, a 30K-50K acapella choir is singing for Lee's chance.

This:

1) Is not a rebuke of any player
2) Is very clear as to the desire of those participating
3) Would look and sound GREAT on TV
