any of you guys ever heard of the site EMeals or used it or know anyone that used it?

As I'm getting closer and closer to my weight loss goals the reality is setting in that something is going to have to be done for meal planning, and that is just something I'm not good at. This site seems like something that could go a long way to help with that.

I haven't heard of that. I just go to the store, pick up a bunch of stuff, and cook whatever I'm feeling. Fly by the seat of my pants

I can't do that...which is exactly why I think that site may be beneficial to me. They send you a meal plan every week including the recipes and shopping list (including cost) based on a grocery store of your choosing. It makes those of us who are food-challenged a little less challenged, haha. They even have specific plans such as Keto, low calorie, portion control etc.

I just go to the store and buy a bag of the Tyson chicken breast, pound of lean sirloin, pound of turkey meat, and pound of ham

I don't do veggies

I could do that if I still lived on my own...don't think my wife would be too fond of that diet

I track most of what I eat on my fitness pal and always add a 1/2 to the portion even if I'm only eating 1. keeps me straight

Yeah when I first started I made meal plans and really stuck with it. I had to re-learn how to eat, what to eat, how much to eat.. but now it's kind of second nature. I've been at it long enough now that I have a good idea of how many ounces something is, or the measurements. I still measure stuff out once in a while to keep myself in check though.

How often do y'all weigh in?

I find that I drive myself crazy if I get on the scale more than twice a week

I used to be a twice a week person...and then being in this thread I started weighing every day. I feel like weighing in every day has kind of helped me learn how my body is acting and helps me not freak out about little (or big) weight increases now.

Ended up on a liquid diet last night at a function I had to go to, so finally got some good movement on the scale:

202/194.5/170

In other news, I wore a shirt last night that used to be "too tight" and now it's just "a little snug" so at least my body is changing, even without significant weight loss.

I weigh in the mornings and in the evenings so I have a good grasp on how foods affect me during the day- I also know that I generally lose 2 lbs overnight, so if it's less than that, it's usually water weight that I'm holding on to.

280/172/165?

Been a while since I checked into this thread. Haven't seen much movement on the scale lately (been stuck in the low 170's for the last 6 months), but I actually have abs for the first time since high school, so I know what I'm doing is working even if the scale isn't moving.

Lot of people in this thread making very good progress. Let's keep it up!

Having a hard time with consistently eating well..
Had a buddy over yesterday to hang out and he requested that I make a jambalaya for lunch.

Bastard.

Other than that, I haven't had anything fried in like 3 weeks and honestly, thats a record for me.

What are y'alls hardest temptations to fight? Mine would be sweets.
