slight up-tick over the past couple of days, which is to be expected...especially with my lunch/dinner combo for Saturday. Today will also be my first day back in the gym in a week. I'm half expecting to get crushed looney tune's style as soon as I get in the squat rack

Hulk, the fastest way to increase your BP = dips, push-ups, and pull-ups. You could literally stop benching for a month, just do dips, push-ups, and pull-ups, and I'd bet you would crush your current bench PR.

I wasted so much time in the gym by ignoring those three body weight exercises. And you need to get over your DB fear. The DB press is another great way to increase your bench.

Pullups? No. I can't. With the assisted machine maxed out, if I do them when I'm fresh, I can get 2-3, maybe 4 on the close grip. I can get a single wide grip one in sometimes but not always. I'm 260 pounds man.. lol

Hopefully everyone stay's safe tonight...remember, straight clear liquor is going to be better for your diet when you're getting trashed on New Year's Eve.

Nice job on the maintaining throughout the Year Bench.

Deuce, nice job crushing your 50 miles/month goal. 80+! Do the math and you'll see that just bit more per run will get you 100 miles a month. Pretty sweet of you to hit over 80 when your goal was 50. Go platinum now!

Well, if you don't attempt in January, keep in mind you'll lose 4 days in February. I'd try a month with 31 days

Shouldn't be hard, I'm cutting out alcohol until after a wedding in April and no more eating out twice a week

As long as you stick with it, it's pretty easy. I didn't really shoot for 100 until I was halfway there and realized "damn, If I just run a little more each time I got this". Not eatin out or drinking will give you more energy so you shouldn't have any issues.

No booze, no Copenhagen, gym 5-6 times a week.
I'm excited.
ETA: I'll be doing a daily tab on weight, cals burned, and exercise

I think, after 8 short months, that I've finally figured out when to expect my weight to be abnormally "high" for a day or so. I called the 245 this morning before I actually stepped on the scale.

Should be back in to the 243's tomorrow. Stupid gym was closed on New Year's day, so I've managed all of 1 workout in the last 2 weeks (was out of town at the beach christmas week) I'm so glad the holidays are just about over with and I can get back to a regular schedule.
