That's cool. You are posting in a weight loss thread on the internet.

Well shite, thanks for pointing that out to me Captain Obvious. I think you missed the key part of that sentence "to me" which means it's my opinion. Plenty of people here weigh in every day and that works for them. I, personally, don't think it's a good idea for me.

It is obsessive. But seeing as how I have a broken relationship with food, I have to be obsessive to get it done.

Like you said.. it's different for everyone. Personally, a week with no weighing would drive me nuts.

I know that with my current weight loss program that it's going to be slow going, and to help keep myself mentally tough I have to weigh less. I feel like if I'm only weight in once or twice a week then I'm seeing drops of 2-3 pounds at a time vs 0 or a tenth of a pound here and there. And that works very well for me

As he said, the scale showed 1.5 lbs more yesterday than today. It is impossible to know where you really are weighing once a week. I dropped 1.8 lbs from yesterday morning to today...but gained 2 from Sunday to Monday.

Planet Nutrition. I know it's sold in the Lafayette area locations. (It's made in Lafayette) But not sure if you can get it anywhere else other than here.

I'd say so. All those extra carbs are just holding water. I know cutting out drinking on weekdays really helped me out.

Think I would prefer that, woke up this morning unable to breathe/swallow and a slight fever

I'm gonna go to Planent Nutrition today see what they have, I was looking yesterday and I have a ton of Pre-workout stuff at my house. Maybe start a thermogenic to help burn some body fat

"in the slot" is easier to type than "I am in the desired range of weight that I am comfortable with."

my desired range of weight is 147 to 148.5. when I'm over 148.5, I am slotless.

The 145 target is to keep me interested.

Weight coming off VERY SLOWLY now. Also recently moved and found a new gym. It's always packed at my usual time, and I've been spending 2+ hours there to get in a workout that just isn't as intense as I'd like because of the crowd. Getting weights/equipment just takes forever. So I started a P90X/running hybrid system to up the workout intensity.
