I hated couch25k when I started, I had to do the first week. 3 times before I could complete second week.
I wouldn't be suprised if that happens to me. I have always HATED cardio. I quit basketball in 10th grade because we had to run a mile in 8 minutes. Some sad stuff.
There is something nice about running at 6:30 AM with no one around at the park I run at.

Estimating my net calories the last 2 days to be about 2000.
Again...if you want results don't estimate. There is no reason to be guessing with all of the free tools available to you.

Yea. Download Myfitnesspal and start tracking. Also buy a food scale and start weighing your food. It helps

I use the myfitnesspal and sometimes add 1/4 or 1/2 if I'm not exactly sure the serving size

I understand about cardio I hated and I actually still do but I do it because I know I need it. I do my standard 2 mile run every day (feels good when I hit a 10min pace ) and then a bike ride or elliptical machine at the gym..... If you go by machines calculated calories I burn on average 800 calories a day

I can't quantify softball games. . I estimate I burned 100 a game, but I have no idea if that is remotely right. I know my gross, been using the app.
ETA: Realized the App has a estimation per minute of softball played. No way I burn 600+ calories in a one hour game.

Rmc I wouldn't even factor in calories burnt from exercise. Eat 500 calories below maintenance and calories burned during exercise will just be an x factor.

That's basically what I did until I bought my heart rate monitor watch. That will tell you exactly how many calories you burn during your workout based on your heart rate.

Heavy cardio past 2 days with light lifting really helped. A lot of interval sprints and went old school and did 50 yards pushing tractor tires. Maybe this is breakthrough I've been waiting for, gonna hold off alcohol (well maybe 2 with lunch Saturday) this weekend

After a weekend in Vegas and a few more days back home not giving an eff (I ate a fried peanut butter jelly sandwich coated in frosted flakes last night for dinner), I put on 10 lbs in a week. Which, honestly, I expected. I was eating >15 carbs/day. I knew my body would put on abunch of water weight and some regular weight. But today I'm back on the grind. Going to try to drop below 170 then hold it there for a while.
tduecen I think changing up your workout style will help. Muscle and body confusion. It works. And pushing a tractor tire is no joke either.

A little up tick. Mainly from drinking a lot of water late in the day I suppose.

Had a slight uptick myself. It's probably due to the 9 PM intake of Bugles. I just couldn't stop myself. Back on the wagon today.

I was so backwards in my thinking it's almost embarrassing. I knew I was losing a bunch of water weight so somehow I thought if I drank more water than usual I'd put it back on. Then it hit me its just the opposite. Smh.
Overall I lost 20.2 pounds from 8/5/13 in a month (when I started dieting). Woohoo!
