I'm trying to do this right now and it's not working out well for me. But I need to give it more time, I guess.

For those low carbing, how many carbs do you try and stay under?

When I do paleo, I try to stay under 75g net carbs.
If I'm trying to do Atkins/Keto dieting, under 25g.

Meh, I mean it is hit or miss.... Main thing is the alcohol consumption and it is reason I put on a little weight recently. However I haven't over done it, if that makes sense. Me starting to like beer has been biggest negative influence on myself

When I am good, I am pretty damn good and when I am bad I am REALLY bad. Very bad day at the trough.

The scale is going to be pissed tomorrow.

Seafood Feast destroyed me.

Fried shrimp, fish and hush puppies, sweet potato fries, crawfish pasta with a dab of ice cream to round out the debacle.

Do you schedule yourself cheat meat deals or cheat days?

Back when I dropped the bulk of the weight I would schedule some cheats but only a couple a month.

Good thing I wasn't working at my current job when I started. Not sure I would have ever dropped a pound if I had been at this office the whole time.

I don't beat myself up over holiday cheats or birthdays or when friends come from out of town. Those events are rare enough not to do much damage.

It's been a short journey but it feels like it's taken forever. Finally lost the 35lbs. I have a meeting with the Air Force recruiter on the 4th where I will take my ASVAB and sign up for my MEPS date.
Made my "weigh in" goal now I'm 5lbs off of my personal goal.

Gotta say thanks to this thread for the motivation and encouragement

Impressive.

When I went to Austin, I spent $250ish in a week at Spec's and at bars. And $100 of that was shipped back to me to my apartment.. and broke.

If you are ever passing through Houston or Austin, stop by Spec's. They are huge. When I saw the beer aisle, my jaw dropped and I freaked out. All I could say was, "where do I begin?!?"
