I've been so tempted to stress eat lately because my big certification exam is coming up on Monday. I haven't really caved but I sure want to. I plan on passing that, then next Friday is my trip to Austin. I'm going to take that whole week off from dieting, enjoy lots of tasty beer and food while I'm there, then when I get back I plan on hammering my diet and gym time hard. Studying for the test has taken the place of gym time, but I only set 2 goals for myself this year.. one is getting that certification, and the 2nd was to hit 220.

yeah its definately hard to concentrate when your stomach is rumbling. Maybe you could try the psyllium husks (I get mine at GNC, orange flav with Stevia) or snack on carrots or some fruit. But I would eat now if you feel the need in order to pass your test. Your diet will still be here afterwards, and Austin sounds like a blast!

Get that weight under control now young pups

I was on ADHD meds my entire life and played baseball from about 7 years old until I was 20. I quit both around the same time and got into college and drinking beer. It's no secret how I gained over 40lbs in 5-6 years

All that shite is in check now and I'm finding tracking calories to be pretty easy. This bodybugg thing I wear also helps a great deal with tracking calories burned. I plan on starting crossfit here soon once I get to about 185 and put a little more muscle on my shoulders/back.

Just got back from "Geaux Crossfit" and their small intro class. I'm not really sure what to take from it but I signed up for 10 classes via their "punchcard" system.

Our intro test was as follows:
500m row on the row machine
40 squats
30 situps
20 pushups
10 pull ups

All of this was for time. I finished in 6:49 which They said was slightly above average for first timers.

The row machine totally screwed me up since I had never ever used one and quickly realized halfway in that my pace was way too fast and I wore myself out pretty quick

Not a good day yesterday. Nope. It was not. Let the stress get to me and ate until I couldn't move.

Then I could add guilt to the stress that was still there.

Got back to Baton Rouge last night and did some comfort eating. Going to take it easy for the next few days. Got a Dr appointment Friday to see about my foot injury. Looking forward to start the training for next year.

Second Cadfast today on the 5and2 plan. Do you other fasters exercise on your CADfast days? I haven't been but wondering if I should.

Bench, Mark Sisson did some research on fasting, googe him if you're interested, but he found that working out on your fasting days prevented muscle loss, so I do workout when fasting. Finally started feeling better last night so I was able to get a workout in.

It means I'm a fat cat purring because I had a rough day at the trough.

Had my final belated birthday meal.

broke the fast last night with pizza and still minus 2#. After two weeks and 4 fasts, I'm starting to believe in Michael Moseley's plan.
