The Italian Feast yesterday only hit me for a pound although I was aided a bit by a stomach ailment which I have had for the last 2 days.

Hulkk I have been doing a breakfast and lunch thing only lately. Try eating your calories during that time period and it may be easier to do a whole 24 hr fast after that. Just eating in a 4 or 8 hr window gets good results.

So tell me how someone can eat good one day and gain three pounds, then the very next day you can eat a ton of pure crappy food and actually lose half a pound. The body is a mysterious thing sometimes.

My wife went to the doctor yesterday and everything is finally getting on track with us getting pregnant. Interestingly her OB put her on the Atkins diet. I'm not sure that we'll really do Atkins but more than likely we'll modify it so we can still eat fruit and let those and maybe quinoa be our only carbs.

Hit the bike for the 5th time in 5 days but I still haven't been able to keep the damn mouth under control.

There were tons of leftovers at work from the Italian Feast.

I ate some but I did do a much better job with portion control than Wednesday. I was actually down half a pound this morning.

I also need to get back to lower sodium. The last 3 months I have been hitting the sriracha extra hard and same with the Tony C.

I had a good Friday. I need a great no cheat weekend.

I am 6 out of 6 days on the stationary bike.

I can't use the weather or darkness as an excuse. For me, the stationary bike was the right move to make.

Instead of doing good, I am doing bad. Cheated with carbs four out of the last five days. Saltines and extra sharp cheddar, chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. Other stupid things. Carbs are an addiction. I need to get ahold of this and stop.

Last night I ate some shiratake noodles with spaghetti sauce. This is more along the lines of what I need to do.

Flawless weekend up to this point. Rode the bike Friday and Saturday. I was planning to give my legs Sunday off, but I still might get an easy ride done.

No food in the house to cheat.

Very very slowly getting back into the groove.

Forgive me father Atkins for I have sinned.

I blame Gene Chizik for this weekend and every weekend since September. How am I not supposed to drink and eat terribly when I have to go through this every Saturday?
