September 28, 2010.
261 pounds. Most I've ever been.
Post number one. I'll go from here to day before Thanksgiving and I'll post a weight then.

You got to cut the booze cause it makes you hungry and less likely to stick to it.

Okay. I'll join you. I'm 244.
Let's see who can lose the most weight by then.
Anyone else want to join?
I'm serious. Let's post every few days. Don't wait until Thanksgiving. It's too easy to forget or say you'll get back to it later and then you never do and just kind of disappear around Thanksgiving hoping people won't notice.
Let's do this.

Oh we can do this. I can cook anyway I need to. I can cook you a fat gumbo and me a low or non fat gumbo and no one can tell the difference.
And no, you can't either. I know. I'm good.

Back in May, I was 250 and I started dieting, working out, etc. and got down to 231 in 2 months. It was awesome. I felt better, clothes got looser, had more energy. Then, I pulled a muscle in my back and then got a cold that turned into bronchitis. Haven't worked out since late July and have lost motivation with the diet.
I'm back up to 244 and am kicking myself. All that hard work evaporating. So, I've got to get back to it. I know what to do. It's just a matter of doing it. This type of thing might help. I'm on this board every day just about.
So, if you win, I'll happily buy you a pizza. If I win - heck, winning would be the prize itself, wouldn't it?

we did this
'biggest loser' program at work.
I asked our wellness directer what was in it for me? cause I'm 6ft and weighed 180/lbs (on march 1st of this year)
She e-mailed me back and said 'Just do it!'
Today I'm a 35 yr. old father of 2 and I'm still 168/lbs
Living proof that eating less and moving around more works!

I love fatasses who think some pill will do it. "I just don't know why I can't lose weight" as they make the 4th trip to the buffet at Great Wall.

Please keep that shite out of this thread.
quote:I call bullshite. I just checked that damn chicken salad recipe thread and it's still blank. Unless you and Zach are shacked up with the same broad, I'm sure your wife has awakened by now.
Sucks because the board will suffer from my lack of kick arse recipes.

Oh noz! The thin fit people are going to derail this thread to make Martini fail so he can get back to posting his recipes.
