most rational people agree that booing your own players is terrible. but alot of those rational people do it anyway. i wish there was a way to show that our discontent is 99% with miles and crowton, oh wait, damn near everyone knows this already

It is as ignorant as booing your undefeated team and leaving early to impress the recruits...
I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he is deflecting the heat. One more thread about him, one less about JJ.
But he needs a speech writer. Saban pulled it off when the fans at Bama did the same when Utah spanked their arse. Next thing you know, they have 90K at spring games, and all decenters have been moved to a relocation camps.

IMO its less that and more a coach sticking up for his team...they just might appreciate someone doing that since the fanbase isn't.
I'm sure they would appreciate better play calling also, but I don't see how its so inconceivable for a coach to take up for his team...

People booed when Jefferson came on the filed, and cheered when he threw out of bounds. The aim was pretty clear. The kid is out of his league, no doubt. But every man willing to boo/jeer the kid from a mile away should man up and stop this BS about who was booed. Come on! Just say it, "I think the kid sucks and I want to embarrass him into quiting." That was the point, own it.
